Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On September 20, 2018, Linda A. Hill informed the Board of Directors of State Street Corporation that she is resigning as a director effective October 1, 2018. Ms. Hill is the Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School and has served on State Street’s Board of Directors since 2000. She informed the Board she is resigning in advance of an expansion of her leadership and innovation advisory firm.
