Item 8.01 Other Events.
On September 28, 2018, ImageWare Systems,Inc. (the "Company") was selected as a participating vendor as part of a team led by IBM Canada Limited to provide identity authentication for employees in Canadian airports. The Company's agreement with IBM Canada Limited is valued at approximately $2.8 million over the term of the agreement and involves software development, licenses and maintenance over a five year period with an option for an additional five year term.
The Company anticipates software deliveries commencing in the fourth quarter of 2018 and continuing into 2019. Maintenance will commence after the delivery of the project is complete which is anticipated to be later in 2019.
