Item 8.01. Other Events
On July 22, 2013, Corporate Resource Services, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing that it has been awarded the contract for the Alameda Contra Costa Transit District in Oakland, California to provide temporary staffing services. This contract is a continuation of the Company’s Government Services Team’s progress in expanding the Company’s government business to generate higher profit margins and greater shareholder value. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
