Item 5.03. Amendments to Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws; Change in Fiscal Year.

On June 4, 2021, the Agreement of Limited Partnership of Life Storage LP (the “Operating Partnership”) was amended and restated. Among other items, the Amended and Restated Agreement of Limited Partnership reflects all prior amendments in one agreement; updates certain provisions to reflect changes in applicable law; amends provisions of the agreement to reflect the terms and conditions, and circumstances related to issuance, of preferred units; clarifies the limitation of liability for the general partner, Life Storage, Inc. and other indemnitees; modernizes the manner in which notices may be communicated; and makes conforming changes consistent with the foregoing.
