SYSTEMAX DELAYS 2004 EARNINGS RELEASE
PORT WASHINGTON, NY, March 25, 2005- Systemax Inc. (NYSE:SYX), a leading distributor and manufacturer of PC hardware, related computer products and industrial products in North America and Europe, today announced that its results for the year ended December 31, 2004 and restated results for the year ended December 31, 2003 and first three quarters of 2004 will not be released on March 30, 2005 as originally scheduled. Steven Goldschein, Chief Financial Officer, noted that the Company’s independent registered public accountants have not completed their examination of the Company’s results for the aforementioned periods. The Company currently expects to release its results on or before April 15, 2005.
