Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On January 27, 2005, MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. (MEMC) issued a press release reporting its financial results for the period ending December 31, 2004, and furnished a copy of that press release on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1. Due to a clerical error in the EDGARization of the press release as an exhibit to the Form 8-K, certain numbers in the press release financial statements were suppressed in the EDGAR filing. MEMC is hereby amending the previously furnished Form 8-K to provide a corrected version of the press release issued on January 27, 2005.
