Item 8.01 Other Events
On April 13, 2012, Banner Corporation, the parent company of Banner Bank and Islanders Bank, announced the termination of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dated March 29, 2010 by and between Banner Corporation and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. The termination of the MOU was effective April 10, 2012. A copy of the press release announcing the termination of the MOU is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
