Item 8.01  Other Events

On February 5, 2010, Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors expanded its stock repurchase program from $4.7 million to $10 million.  The Company is now authorized to repurchase up to $10 million of its Common Stock from time to time in the open market or through privately negotiated transactions in accordance with Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.  A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
