Item 2.02.Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On October 10, 2006, SUPERVALU INC. filed a Current Report on Form 8-K referencing under Item 2.02 thereof a News Release announcing its financial results for the fiscal period ended September 9, 2006. The News Release was also included as Exhibit 99.1 to that report.
This Form 8-K/A is being filed to correct two dates appearing in the last Exhibit to the News Release which is titled “SUPERVALU INC. AND SUBSIDIARIES – SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION (Unaudited)”. The dates appearing in the caption of the second and fourth columns of the Exhibit should be “September 10, 2005” rather than “September 10, 2006”.
The information in this Current Report on Form 8-K/A shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that Section, nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933 or the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, regardless of any general incorporation language in such filing.
