On February 23, 2007, Texas Industries, Inc. announced that its subsidiary, TXI Capital Trust I, called for the redemption on March 26, 2007 all of its remaining outstanding 5.5% shared preference redeemable securities (NYSE: TXI PrS). A copy of the press release announcing the results of the redemption is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
