Thomas & Betts Corporation Expands Share Repurchase Authorization
MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 5, 2008--Thomas & Betts Corporation (NYSE:TNB) today announced that the company’s board of directors has expanded the company’s October 2008 authorization to repurchase shares of Thomas & Betts common stock from three to five million shares. The authorization expires in October 2010.
The authorization gives management discretion in determining conditions under which the shares may be purchased from time to time.
