Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 4, 2007, William I. Lee, a member of the Board of Directors of Toreador Resources Corporation (“Toreador”) passed away. Mr. Lee served as a director of Toreador since 1998 and will be greatly missed. At the time of his death, he served on the Toreador Executive and Investment Committee, the Corporate Governance Committee and the Nominating Committee.
