On March 26, 2009, Nicholas Rostow, a director of Toreador Resources Corporation (“Toreador”), announced that he would not stand for re-election as a director of Toreador at the next Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
Mr. Rostow is not declining to stand for re-election due to any disagreement relating to Toreador’s operations, policies or practices.
