Attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 is a press release issued by Toreador Resources Corporation (“Toreador”) on September 16, 2009 announcing the appointments of Bernard de Combret as an Independent Director on Toreador’s Board of Directors, Marc Sengès as Toreador’s Chief Financial Officer, and Tony Vermeire as Toreador’s Commercial Director. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated by reference herein.
