C. R. Bard, Inc. (“Bard”) today announced that, in connection with its suit against W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (“Gore”) for infringing Bard’s patent number 6,436,135, Bard received $208.9 million on May 1, 2015, the total amount of the enhanced damages awarded by the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona due to Gore’s willfulness. Gore may petition for review by the U.S. Supreme Court.
