Homogeneous BETA-1,3-GLUCAN/NUCLEIC Acid Complexes and Use Thereof
16 Nov 23
A population of β-1,3-glucan/nucleic acid complexes, each of which contains β-1,3-glucan and a nucleic acid containing a homo-polynucleotide that binds to β-1,3-glucan via a hydrogen bond, and has a triple helical structure consisting of two β-1,3-glucan chains and one nucleic acid chain containing the homo-polynucleotide that binds to β-1,3-glucan via a hydrogen bond contained in the nucleic acid, where 30% or more of the β-1,3-glucan/nucleic acid complexes contained in the population satisfy the following conditions: (i) they are homogeneous in the length of the homo-polynucleotide contained in the nucleic acid containing a homo-polynucleotide that bind to β-1,3-glucan via a hydrogen bond constituting the complex, and (ii) the molecular number of the nucleic acid(s) containing a homo-polynucleotide that binds to β-1,3-glucan via a hydrogen bond contained in one molecule of the complex is selected from the group consisting of 1, 2 and 3.

Chemically-modified siRNA
21 Dec 21
An objective of the present invention is to provide a chemically-modified siRNA that has polydeoxyadenylic acid added to the 5′ end of the sense strand, and, when complexed with schizophyllan, is high in resistance against RNase and moreover effectively exhibits RNAi activity.
