Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment Principal Officers.
On June 17, 2008 the Board of Directors of FirstPlus Financial Group, Inc. (the “Company”), appointed William Handley as Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Handley no longer serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Also on June 17, 2008, the Board of Directors of the Company removed John Maxwell as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Maxwell remains an employee of the Company.
