Item 8.01. Other Events.
On May 5, 2005 TLC Vision Corporation issued a press release announcing the acquisition of the assets of Southeastern Eye Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, a refractive center, and the assets of Vision Surgical Services, Louisville, Kentucky, a cataract surgical services provider. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
