Item 8.01. Other Events.
Post Properties, Inc. and Post Apartment Homes, L.P. (collectively referred to as the “Registrants”) are filing this current report on Form 8-K for the sole purpose of filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission and thereby incorporating into certain registration statements certain supplemental data regarding Post Properties, Inc.’s financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2012. The financial data which the Registrants are filing with the Commission is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, and Exhibit 99.1 to this current report is incorporated herein by reference. All information in Exhibit 99.1 is provided as of the date thereof and the Registrants do not assume any obligation to update said information in the future.
