Dear Sirs,
According to Article 28 of the Peruvian Capital Markets Law and regarding the Rules related to Key Events, Private Information and other Communications approved by CONASEV Resolution No. 107-2002-EF/94.10, Telefónica del Perú S.A.A. informs you that on December 26, 2005 the General Shareholders Meeting of the subsidiary Telefónica Multimedia S.A.C. approved (i) the payment of dividends in an amount of S/.31,599,293.08, which is S/.0.1338629874217150 per share, against the accumulated results as of December 31, 2004 detracted the legal reserve; and, (ii) the payment of a provisional dividend of S/.2,950,491.12, which is S/.0.0124990630228504 per share, against the net profits as of December 31, 2005, which will be discounted from the final dividend that will determine the Annual Obligatory Shareholders Meeting pursuant to law. The payment of such benefits will be effective on December 29, 2005.
