E*TRADE Financial Corporation (the “Company”) is presenting today at the Barclays Global Financial Services Conference. A copy of the Company’s presentation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein. During the presentation, the Company will discuss its Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs) for the month of August. For August 2012, the Company reports DARTs of 121,570, a five percent decrease from July and a 37 percent decrease from the year-ago period. The Company intends to issue its standard monthly activity report for August, including loan performance data for the July and August periods, on or about September 19, 2012.
