Item 8.01. Other Events
OGE Energy Corp. (the "Company") is the parent company of Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company, a regulated electric utility with approximately 858,000 customers in Oklahoma and western Arkansas. In addition, the Company holds a 25.5 percent limited partner interest and a 50 percent general partner interest in Enable Midstream Partners, LP ("Enable").
On April 1, 2020, Enable announced actions it has taken to strengthen its balance sheet and increase its annualized retained cash flow by approximately $450 million. The Company expects distributions of approximately $18 million for the upcoming quarter and does not expect any changes to its operations, nor does the Company foresee the need to access the equity markets as a result of this action.
