RELEVANT FACT
Madrid, August 7th, 2006: Endesa’s (NYSE:ELE) Board of Directors, following relevant advice, and in order to defend the Company’s value and its shareholders’ interests, has unanimously resolved to appeal against the resolution passed by the National Energy Commission (CNE) on July 27, 2006.
