Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.
Effective May 31, 2006 Sonoran Energy, Inc. (the "Company") accepted the resignation of Christopher Pittman from his position as a director of the Company. Mr. Pittman has decided to step down from the Board of Directors in order to pursue other ventures. There were no disagreements between the Company and Mr. Pittman.
