As was previously announced by a press release issued on November 21, 2008, members of senior management of The Phoenix Companies, Inc. (“PNX”) and its subsidiary, Virtus Investment Partners, Inc. (“Virtus”), will hold a conference call with investors on Thursday, December 4, 2008. The call will cover PNX’s planned spin-off of Virtus.
The slides used in connection with the conference call are attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and are incorporated herein by reference. These slides may be used by PNX or Virtus in other presentations to investors.
