On April 18, 2013, Clinton Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, "Clinton") issued a press release in response to the letter issued by Stillwater Mining Company ("Stillwater") to its stockholders on April 17, 2013. The press release highlighted several misleading statements in Stillwater's letter and urged Stillwater stockholders to vote for Clinton's slate of nominees at the upcoming annual meeting. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 1.
