On October 18, 2005, the Board of Directors of Marco Community Bancorp, Inc. declared a three for two stock split. The record date for determination of shareholders entitled to participate in the split will be November 15, 2005. The payment date will be December 15, 2005. Fractional shares will not be issued and shareholders entitled to fractional shares will receive cash based on the November 15, 2005 closing price.
Marco Community Bancorp, Inc. common stock trades on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board under the symbol “MCBN”. Certain data providers, such as www.yahoo.com require users to look up the symbol as “MCBN.OB”.
