Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 21, 2006, the Company announced that it has acquired an exclusive fields of use license from California Institue of Technology ("Caltech") to a real-time inference engine (software platform) called SHINE. Originally developed and used by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory for space flight operations, SHINE is intended for systems where inference speed, portability and deployablity are of critical importance.
A copy of the press release is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. A correction to the press release is that the mention that "SHINE can process over 200,000 million rules per second", should be replaced with "SHINE can process over 200 million rules per second".
