Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On June 14, 2024, Parks! America, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a news release (the “News Release”) announcing Lisa Brady its President and CEO stepped down effective June 14, 2024. Ms. Brady will continue to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors.
Geoffrey Gannon has been appointed as the President the Company by its Board of Directors. From 2020, Mr. Gannon has served as the Portfolio Manager at Focused Compounding Fund, LP.
This changes follow a comprehensive and productive proxy battle, culminating in a strategic realignment that positions the Company for continued growth and success.
