On May 1, 2009, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines ("Bank") provided notice to Nicholas J. Spaeth, the Bank's General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer, that Mr. Spaeth's employment agreement will expire at the end of its initial term on June 30, 2009.
The material terms of Mr. Spaeth's employment agreement are provided in an 8-K Current Report filed by the Bank on April 27, 2007, and are incorporated herein by reference to such filing. Mr. Spaeth's employment agreement was filed as an exhibit to the Bank's 10-Q Periodic Report filed on May 11, 2007, and is incorporated herein by reference to such filing.
