Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
On July 8, 2009, Advanced Voice Recognition Systems, Inc., a Nevada corporation (“AVRS”, “we” or “us”), entered into an Allonge to Promissory Note with Walter Geldenhuys, who is our President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, and who serves as a member of our Board of Directors. The Allonge to Promissory Note is effective as of July 6, 2009 and modifies the original Promissory Note made by us to Mr. Geldenhuys in the principal amount of $225,544 by, among other things, extending the maturity date of the Promissory Note from July 6, 2009 to October 5, 2009. A copy of the Allonge to Promissory Note is furnished herewith as Exhibit 10.1
