On June 25, 2010, CorMedix Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the dosing of the first patient in the Company’s Phase II clinical trial of CRMD-001, the Company’s proprietary formulation of deferiprone, for the prevention of contrast-induced acute kidney injury in high-risk patients with chronic kidney disease. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
