Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 23, 2013, China Growth Equity Investment Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company's upcoming general meeting of shareholders will be held on February 21, 2013, and that the record date for the determination of the shareholders of the Company entitled to notice of and to vote at the meeting has been fixed as January 28, 2013. A copy of that press release is furnished with this report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
