Item 8.01. Other Events.
On August 6, 2015, RCS Capital Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it will issue the release of its financial and operating results for the second quarter of 2015 later today. The press release also announced that the Company will host an investor call and webcast to discuss its second quarter 2015 financial and operating results today, Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. E.T.
A copy of the press release announcing the foregoing is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
