On August 16, 2018, Summit Therapeutics plc (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the Company’s award of the first of three potential option work segments under its contract with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response.
