On March 28, 2017, CRISPR Therapeutics AG ( the “Company”) issued a press release reporting that the European Patent Office announced its intention to grant a patent related to the Company’sin-licensed gene editing technology in connection with European Patent Application No. 13793997. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
