Item 8.01 Other Events

On January 9, 2023, Sovos Brands (the “Company”) promoted Risa Cretella to Chief Sales Officer, effective February 1, 2023. Ms. Cretella is a seasoned executive who has been with the Company since 2018 when she began as General Manager, Rao’s Homemade. Since April 2020, she has served as Executive Vice President and Group General Manager, and has been instrumental in growing the Rao’s brand, including rapid growth of the sauce business and the successful launch of the brand into new categories.

Additionally, Priscilla Tuan, Chief Marketing Officer, has notified the Company of her intention to resign, effective February 28, 2023, in order to pursue another leadership opportunity. All sales, brand and marketing teams within the Company will continue to report to Yuri Hermida, Chief Growth Officer.
