Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 8, 2016, Fibrocell Science, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Phase II azficel-T clinical trial for the treatment of vocal cord scarring resulting in chronic or severe dysphonia did not meet its primary endpoints. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
