On September 19, 2008, The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (“Manitowoc”) and Enodis plc (“Enodis”) issued a joint press release announcing that the necessary antitrust clearance from the European Commission in connection with Manitowoc’s proposed acquisition of Enodis has been obtained. A copy of the joint press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
