On October 6, 2008, The Manitowoc Company, Inc. (“Manitowoc”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing that the necessary antitrust clearance from the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division in connection with Manitowoc’s proposed acquisition of Enodis plc has been obtained.
Manitowoc is filing the Press Release as Exhibit 99.1 hereto, which is incorporated herein by reference.
