Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On August 3, 2007, Christie L. Wright retired from her position as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of First Mid Illinois Bancshares, Inc. (“The Company”) and Vice President of Investments for First Mid-IL Bank and Trust, N.A. (“First Mid”). Ms. Wright was Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Company since 1998 and Vice President of First Mid since 1995. Laurel G. Allenbaugh will assume the role of Vice President, Secretary of the Company.
