On July 27, 2011, the Board of Directors of BancorpSouth, Inc. (the “Company”) announced the retirement of W. Gregg Cowsert from his positions as Executive Vice President of the Company and Vice Chairman and Chief Lending Officer of BancorpSouth Bank, effective as of September 30, 2011.
