On May 26, 2011, Marcia S. Albright resigned from her position as a director of Southern Michigan Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") and its wholly-owned bank subsidiary, Southern Michigan Bank & Trust,. There is no disagreement between the Company and Ms. Albright known to an executive officer of the Company, as defined in 17 CFR 240.3b-7, on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices.
