Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On November 15, 2005, Michael J. Hanson, president and chief executive officer, and Brian B. Bird, vice president and chief financial officer, of NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy (NASDAQ: NWEC) (the “Company”) will be meeting with certain sell-side analysts and shareholders and will make a presentation to such analysts and shareholders regarding the third quarter 2005 financial results of the Company.
A copy of the slide presentation that Mr. Hanson and Mr. Bird will use in making their remarks at these meetings is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
