Letter to Shareholders
On January 12, 2021, First United Corporation (“First United”) mailed a letter to its shareholders, a copy of which is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
Driver Opportunity Partners I LP
On January 8, 2021, First United received a notice from Driver Opportunity Partners I LP (“Driver”) of its intent to submit business proposals and to nominate J. Abbott Cooper for election as a director at First United’s 2021 annual meeting of shareholders. First United's Board of Directors is reviewing the notice. No action by shareholders is required at this time.
