ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This proxy statement supplement (the “Proxy Supplement”) amends and supplements the definitive proxy statement filed by The Spectranetics Corporation (the “Company”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 22, 2014 regarding the 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders of the Company (the “Proxy Statement”). Except as amended below by this Proxy Supplement, all information set forth in the Proxy Statement remains unchanged.
Subsequent to the filing of the Proxy Statement, the Company engaged Alliance Advisors, LLC to solicit proxies in person, by telephone or by other means of communications related to the proposals set forth in the Proxy Statement. The Company will pay Alliance Advisors, LLC approximately $10,000 plus out-of-pocket expenses in connection with its solicitation of proxies on behalf of the Company.
