Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On January 27, 2005, Novellus Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that during its regularly scheduled conference call held earlier that day to discuss the Company’s fourth quarter and fiscal year 2004 results of operations, incorrect information was given regarding percentage product bookings by wafer size. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. The foregoing description of the press release is qualified in its entirety by reference to Exhibit 99.1.
