On March 23, 2011, The Board of Directors of The Wet Seal, Inc. (the “Company”) approved the revised Code of Business Ethics and Conduct (the “Code of Ethics”) that had been recommended by the Company’s Nominating and Governance Committee. The revisions modified the Gifts and Entertainment policy and added a Social Networking policy to the Code of Ethics, while leaving all other content substantially unchanged.
The Code of Ethics is effective as of March 23, 2011. A complete copy of our Code of Ethics, as revised, is attached as Exhibit 14.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
