Departure of Principal Officers
On September 30, 2014, Steven H. Benrubi, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at The Wet Seal, Inc. (the “Company”) informed the Company that he is resigning from his position, effective December 1, 2014. A search is underway for a new chief financial officer.

On October 2, 2014, the Company issued a press release with respect to Mr. Benrubi’s resignation, a copy of which is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
