Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 19, 2012, National Health Investors, Inc. announced an agreement with Bickford Senior Living to combine their ownership in the real estate and operating assets of 10 stabilized assisted living and memory care facilities. This arrangement is expected to close by September 30, 2012. The text of this press release is filed as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
